New in the family: WiSe becomes part of Alpina Group

The Alpina Group family has expanded to include WiSe Insurance. WiSe Insurance from Assen has been part of Uiterwijk Winkel Verzekeringen in Hoogeveen since October 1. "WiSe has a nice, business portfolio that fits well with our desire to specialize in areas such as hospitality," says Marco Smit, regional director Noord. "We are therefore pleased to welcome WiSe within Alpina Group."

Network plays an important role

"The addition of WiSe is in line with our ambition to become even stronger as an advisory and proxy company," Smit continued. "We are looking around us for parties that can become part of Alpina Group. In doing so, we are focusing in particular on small to medium-sized companies that are a good fit for us. Our large network plays an important role in this. This is also how we came into contact with WiSe, when together we explored insurance solutions for their clients."

Local entrepreneurship and personal customer contact

More acquisitions are planned in the coming period, both in the Netherlands and in Belgium. Smit: "Our focus is on companies that add something to Alpina Group or that are located in places where we want to expand our coverage. We cherish local entrepreneurship and personal customer contact. An office should be easily accessible, not just online. We want to keep the individuality of an office, even if it gets a different name. You become part of one big family, and within that is room for a lot of diversity."

The owner of WiSe will join the management of Uiterwijk Winkel Verzekeringen. This will ensure continuity for clients and together we will continue to build on optimal service.
