What does the job entail?

As an administrative assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the pension department. You are mainly concerned with change management and communication around the pension scheme.

Your challenges as an administrative assistant are:

  • Processing new applications, policies and mutations;
  • Control the financial processing associated with the movements;
  • Conduct correspondence (written and telephone) with societies regarding mutations;
  • Modifying and updating (commercial) relationship data in various systems;
  • Identifying areas for improvement regarding the processes and making improvement proposals.

  • A work week of 32 to 40 hours;
  • Flexibility through hybrid working;
  • 25 vacation days (based on full-time employment), 5 of which are included in your personal choice budget (PKB);
  • Two additional days off per year that you may take on a day that is special to you;
  • A pension plan;
  • A travel allowance: Do you travel by car? Then you get €0.23 per km. Do you come walking or by bike? Then you get € 0,25 per km. Do you travel by public transport? Then your public transport costs (based on 2nd class travel) will be fully reimbursed;
  • A home office allowance (€2.15 per day) and a home office budget;
  • Staff discount on your insurance, mortgage, buying, selling and appraising your home.

What does the team look like?

You will work hybrid with Doetinchem as your location. You will work in a team of fourteen colleagues, where you and four other colleagues are responsible for supporting the inside sales advisors. You are part of a nationwide client team of twenty-four enthusiastic and knowledgeable inside and outside sales advisors. We work from the locations Apeldoorn, Hoogeveen, Beverwijk, Doetinchem, Oss and Leusden. There is an informal working atmosphere with motivated and committed colleagues. What we ask of you.

You are an administrative jack-of-all-trades, communicative and service-oriented. You can switch well between various activities without losing the overview and are an energetic and enthusiastic team player. Additionally:

  • Minimum mbo working and thinking level;
  • Relevant work experience in a similar administrative position;
  • A good command of the Dutch language both verbally and in writing;
  • In possession of Wft Basic diploma or willing to obtain it at short notice;
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Outlook and Excel);
  • Do you have good social skills and can work in a team as well as independently;
  • A proactive work ethic with a great sense of responsibility;
  • Numerically strong and works accurately with an eye for detail.

You possess the following characteristics and competencies:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Customer-oriented and solution-oriented;
  • Driven and service-oriented;
  • Stress resistant and flexible.
