What does the job entail?
Bridge builder, connector, advisor and coordinator. All these roles come together in the position of co-determination policy officer. As a true jack-of-all-trades, you know your way around the interface of employee participation and the works council. You identify developments within the organization and translate these to the (C)OR. You advise and organize in the field of current affairs and training.
You support the (central) works council ((C)OR) in substantive and process matters. You organize the decision-making processes, monitor the progress of actions, give advice and are responsible for coordination and feedback to the various parties. To this end, you prepare in every detail the advice, consent matters and initiative proposals to be issued by the (C)OR.
The planning, preparation of the agenda and content documents and the organization of the meetings lies with you, you also make the reports. You take care of an up-to-date archive so that everyone stays informed of current affairs. You also monitor the policy plan, the annual work plan and the strategy of the (C)OR and make suggestions for improvement.
Of course, you work closely with the executive board. Through your input, elected members have more time for content and you increase the quality of participation. You are the continuous factor that enthuses the members. In everything you do, you make sure that the laws, procedures and agreements concerning co-determination are observed.

- A fixed-term employment contract with the prospect of permanent employment and a gross full-time salary between €4,200 and €5,372, depending on experience;
- A personal choice budget (PKB), made up of various benefits including 8% vacation allowance. You can use the budget for various purposes;
- Access to the Alpina Academy; our learning platform for training, courses and education including access to Lindenhaeghe (for obtaining Wft diplomas) and SkillsTown;
- A 16-hour work week;
- Flexibility through hybrid working;
- 25 vacation days (based on full-time employment), 5 of which are included in your personal choice budget (PKB);
- Two additional days off per year that you may take on a day that is special to you;
- A pension plan;
- A travel allowance: Do you travel by car? Then you get €0.23 per km. Do you come walking or by bike? Then you get € 0,25 per km. Do you travel by public transport? Then your public transport costs (based on 2nd class travel) will be fully reimbursed;
- A home office allowance (€2.15 per day) and a home office budget;
- Staff discount on your insurance, mortgage, buying, selling and appraising your home.

What we ask of you.
With your organizational talent and hands-on mentality, you know how to keep the processes of the (C)OR running smoothly. You are used to working independently and respond proactively to signals from within the organization. In addition:
- Minimum hbo working and thinking level;
- Extensive experience as a policy officer within participation bodies;
- In possession of clerical secretary level B;
- Can you set up and monitor administrative processes and records;
- Up-to-date knowledge of the specific laws and regulations (including WOR) and developments within this field;
- Completed training in office secretary, or willing to attend;
- Do you have good social skills and can work in a team as well as independently;
- A good command of the Dutch language both verbally and in writing.
You possess the following characteristics and competencies:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Accurate and structured;
- Independent and proactive.
