Are you communicatively strong and can you simplify technical stories so the general public understands them and deal with customer needs and accommodate diverse interests? What does the job entail?

As a functional administrator, you are responsible for the functioning of (business) applications: Assu, Finly and Mailfrog. This means that you regularly check the applications and perform maintenance where necessary. You are not only responsible for the functioning of systems, but also fulfill a supporting role for users. You also have an important contribution in supplier management and improvement projects.

Your challenges as a functional administrator are:

  • Support handling of user queries from the first line (customer management and back office) and knowledge transfer to the first line;
  • Be a daily point of contact for questions and record and respond to them in a ticket system;
  • Implementing changes in application setup;
  • Analyzing log reports and assessing which party is needed for resolution;
  • Collect functional change requests and write them out solution-wise, specify and figure out who should implement this change request;
  • Monitoring the roles and rights structure within the existing regulations and guidelines of data security;
  • Identifying user needs and managing a wish list;
  • Preparing instructions and manuals and where necessary shaping (new/non-automated) information facilities and workarounds;
  • Monitoring the performance of the application and proactively flagging irregularities to vendor and management where necessary.

  • A fixed-term employment contract with the prospect of permanent employment and a gross full-time salary between €3,013 and €5,020, depending on experience;
  • A personal choice budget (PKB), made up of various benefits including 8% vacation allowance. You can use the budget for various purposes;
  • Access to the Alpina Academy; our learning platform for training, courses and education including access to Lindenhaeghe (for obtaining Wft diplomas) and SkillsTown;
  • A work week of 32 to 40 hours;
  • Flexibility through hybrid working;
  • 25 vacation days (based on full-time employment), 5 of which are included in your personal choice budget (PKB);
  • Two additional days off per year that you may take on a day that is special to you;
  • A pension plan;
  • A travel allowance: Do you travel by car? Then you get €0.23 per km. Do you come walking or by bike? Then you get € 0,25 per km. Do you travel by public transport? Then your public transport costs (based on 2nd class travel) will be fully reimbursed;
  • A home office allowance (€2.15 per day) and a home office budget;
  • Staff discount on your insurance, mortgage, buying, selling and appraising your home.

You will work hybrid with Doetinchem as your location. Working from another location within our group is also a possibility. There is an informal working atmosphere with motivated and committed colleagues. What we ask of you.

You are aware of professional and social developments relevant to the industry. A proactive attitude, you enjoy working in a team and naturally establish contact with customers/users and team members. In addition:

  • At least a completed college degree in ICT, Business Administration or Computer Science;
  • At least three years of work experience as a functional administrator and is familiar with application release management;
  • Experience with testing and functionality management;
  • A good command of the Dutch language both verbally and in writing.
  • Do you have good social skills and can work in a team as well as independently;
  • Do you have IT knowledge and can problem-solve when a failure occurs;
  • Ability to come up with improvements or new concepts around functional management and can convincingly communicate these to users and stakeholders on both the business and IT side.

You possess the following characteristics and competencies:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Customer-oriented, punctual and creative;
  • Analytical and responsible;
  • Planning and organizing.
